Johnnie’s Jam: A Tribute to Johnnie Johnson is a fundraiser for Art Holliday’s documentary film Johnnie Be Good! about legendary rock and roll pioneer, pianist Johnnie Johnson. Three world class musicians from Conan O'Brien's band, guitarist Jimmy Vivino, bassist Mike Merritt, and drummer James Wormworth will perform. Before they became part of Conan's band, Jimmy, Mike, and James recorded and toured internationally with Johnnie Johnson as well as B.B.King, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Branford Marsalis, Pete Townsend, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, James Brown, Michael McDonald, Levon Helm, Wynton Marsalis, Cyndi Lauper, Keith Richards, Rufus Wainwright, Bo Diddley, Trisha Yearwood, and Isaac Hayes. The goal for this event is to provide the funds necessary to complete Johnnie Be Good!
