Right in the middle of Grand Center, the thriving and growing home for the arts in St. Louis,
sits an historic building that was built in 1912 and in recent years has emerged as "the place" to hear great music.
The Sheldon Concert Hall is intimate and acoustically perfect, making it a favorite for musicians and audiences alike.
Maintaining such a jewel for the past 92 years has not been without its challenges.
Today, we offer over 130 concerts in our Sheldon Concert Hall, including top artists in jazz, folk and classical music,
plus blues, bluegrass, gospel, Celtic and world music. We present over 20 exhibitions each year in our Sheldon Art Galleries
that attract both new and seasoned art lovers who are impressed with the quality and diversity of our visual arts programming.
We annually welcome 15,000 school-aged children from throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area who participate in our
education programs and leave The Sheldon amazed and excited by their contact with live music and great art.
All of this could not be accomplished without the vision and commitment from individuals like you.
